My Body Is......
Every Monday (well, most Mondays…because, LIFE), I post a positive affirmation for my tribe to repeat daily and all week. Ninety-nine percent of the time, the affirmations I choose to post are the same ones I need to repeat to myself, in order to replace the lies or limited beliefs I’m believing in or struggling with at the time. Needless to say, choosing a positive affirmation for the week usually comes easy! Why? Because, even though I am faith-filled and centered on the Love of Christ, the enemy is always at work. The enemy is always trying to distract, kill, steal, and destroy. He knows how to push my buttons. He knows what to use to try to bring doubt and fear into my brain. But I’ve got the tools and shield to ward him off - the Word of God and positive affirmations.
This week’s positive affirmation is “My Body Is (fill in the blank with a positive word or phrase)”. The response to my post was so inspiring. Here are some of the comments people posted:

The Vehicle to My Dreams!!
I love all of these, but especially, the last one! “My body is the vehicle to my dreams!!” I’ve already written it down in my planner each day and on my vision board. Your body IS the vehicle to your dreams. Without our body, we wouldn’t be able to do what God has called us to. This affirmation has empowered me this week and it has motivated me.
So, here’s what I want you to do. I want you to sit down, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths. After a good 30 seconds to 1 full minute of just sitting and breathing, I want you to meditate on this affirmation and fill in the blank. Breath in the phrase…”My body is”…..breathe out.. your positive affirmation. Do this a few times. Then write it down, enter it on your phone, or wherever, so that you see it every day and it reminds you to repeat it all day, every day this week. Then next week choose another one. And so on.
But just repeating positive affirmations is not enough. You have to stay in the word. When you’re struggling with something, google a verse to help you with that situation, doubt, or lie. Then write that verse down. Stay in the word every day….meditate on God’s truth and his promises for your life; and replace the doubt and lies with positive affirmations, and these truths will take a firm place in your body, soul, heart, and mind.
Don’t quit on loving yourself, because His love for you never quits.
